Meadow Blaze Salsa Jars

This brand design project involves building a salsa jar brand of our choice. These jars depict three different flavors of the same branded jar while staying true to brand guidelines. My creative brief is as follows:

What started as a unique homemade product just like their western quilts, Meadow Blaze Farms all-natural salsa was shared amongst the family members of their small meadow farm, has expanded our small batches to neighborhood parties and get-togethers. In 1968, The Blaze’s family salsa products had reached to the town’s farmers market in Alice, Texas and soon, across the markets of the Jim Wells County.

Final Compositions

I wanted to focus on the homemade aspect of this salsa brand by incorporating illustrated western quilt patterns onto the label. I also wanted to emphasize some of the important and all natural home-grown ingredients by including illustrated tomatoes and chillies onto the label as well. These illustrations visually depict the bond of The Blaze family as these are homemade elements that have all worked together to create.
