Sweet Street
Food Truck Branding
This branding project involved me to conceptualize how to execute a well-organized and designed food truck brand, constructing which foods I chose to serve as well as the supplies, merchandise, and campaigns I could conceptualize and finalize. My creative brief is as follows:
As the newly opened (2015), Sweet Street Desserts had seen a high amount of success and popularity within their Boston local bakeries, Sweet Street proposed to give back to their loyal customers by bringing their food to them via mobile service. Sweet Street Desserts Food Truck wishes to expand their success and popularity amongst it’s late teens/early adult demographic by providing them with sweets and treats that are favorable on a year-round basis. These sweets include hot cobbler pie, fresh cheesecake, and their famous macarons.
Food Truck Designs
For this design, I wanted to expand my color palette to a variety of bright colors that draws in a more ‘young’ adult demographic. I also incorporated modern-retro stylized patterns as well as simplified graphics of the desserts served to stand out to onlookers.
Merchandise & Supplies
Following the same color palette and graphic guidelines, I designed two different sets of uniforms, to-go boxes napkins and bags, and menus that can be seen within the food truck or on building walls for onlookers to easily view within crowds.
Advertisement Campaigns
Following the same color palette and graphic guidelines as well as the young adult demographic, I wished to advertise this brand through popular mobile apps such as Instagram and Doordash for coupon offers as well as an outdoor poster advertisement located within urban areas.
